That said, I installed a stock radiator after the seller had installed a DeWitts in its place. It works just fine - after soaking it in Simple Green over night and then blowing about a quart of crud (mud and sand) out of the exterior core. (Made me wonder just how many DeWitts get installed b/c the stock rad was full of grass and sand, etc.)

Mine has a cheap, advance auto, type replacement in it and it works just fine. Even pounding it through the desert and 2/3rds of the way across the country. No problems.
I was thinking the same thing about cleanliness, but especially about the tubes inside? I saw the mess that came out of the block when I flushed it.. I wonder what the tubes in the bottom of radiators with poorly maintained cooling systems look like?
If it is half as bad as what settled in the bottom of the water jacket in the block, no wonder they have cooling issues.
the picture is most likely just a stock photo of one of there cars in the yard. but like others why would you buy a used radiator? go buy a new and forget about it
Wow, not sure how this turned into a radiator discussion.
I don't need a radiator. I was looking at a used rear bumper they have. As I looked through there items I saw that radiator ad and wondered if I should do business with someone that would post those pictures to sell a radiator.
I was looking for anyone that had personal experience with them before I spend $400.

Do they not have detailed pics of the used bumper? If not, then your answer is there. Never buy a used body part without very detailed pictures. Rear bumper is urethane so if it's not cracked or creased it would be fine.
