Bose Capacitor List

Call me crazy, but I want to rebuild the Bose amps in my '90 convertible since they've suffered the same fate as almost all do... no surprise.

Anyway, I've searched for but can't really find a listing of capacitors I will need to do the rebuild. If anyone has this info handy, please share.

I had mine rebuilt by doctor dons a few years ago.

noticed no difference ofher than a lighter wallet

for my (white) 90, I bought some working units off fleabay. I seem to recall, the head unit and 2 speaker amps were DOA. used parts worked out OK. I don't know if i'm lucky or not, but on my 85, all four speaker amps are original and still working although I get a rather loud, speaker snap or crack when I first power up the radio. I would guess there is an issue with a power cap somewhere in the system. other than that, it's OK. sound quality - since I have a tin ear, it sounds fine to me. I replaced the radio unit with a delco/bose CD unit some 15+ years ago. I guess it's nice to have a working sound system, but really don't listen to the car's radio much anymore.
