Extended battery terminals

Has anybody added any type of extended battery terminal or longer bolts etc to help with jump starts or charging.?

If you are talking about the screw in type, I bought some at Walmart in the auto battery department. They gave me about another 3/4 inche of protruding bolt

I bought a pair from Amazon a couple of years ago. Removed the factory studs from the cables and replaced them with a longer version. I did this so I could wire in a battery minder as I didn't want to use the alligator clips.

I put quick disconnects on both terminals to get them above the battery and make for easier contacts for charging or testing.....

I also use them for the Battery Minder harness. They have worked very well. The harness quick-disconnect comes out below the front bumper for connection to my battery Minder harness.
