Car won't start, turns over, but won't run and heres why

Well, having the fuel pump on the rear deck will make it harder to start...

What I find happening is, as the pump is vibrating it turns itself to the left(my gas gauge was stuck at 1/4) and the sock rotates left too. Looks like it went left and twisted up.
I was to make sure I rotated pump left then put the sock on. so far so good .

I read several posts that clearly had the same issues. I was amazed at how the fuel strainer in mine had disintegrated sending crap into the pump, stopping it.

I just changed mine. I had to tighten the clamp that held the pump. I was kinda loose.
