Before driving I've been letting my coolant get to almost 200 and my oil temp to 150. Do I really need to wait to get my oil temp up or does it not really matter?
Start it up and go when oil pressure has steadied (about 2 seconds). :) I don't mash the gas until the oil is at 150*. If I do let it warm up in the driveway I still don't mash it for a while so that the transmission and differential fluids can get up to temp first.
Excessive idling, especially when cold is one of the worst things you can do for your engine.
Start it up and if you've got oil pressure, go. Some people like to not get on the car hard until the oil temp gets up to a certain temp. That's fine and not a bad idea. If you sit at idle for a long time it can take a long time for the oil to get up to the upper end of the motor, doing more harm than good.
Take it easy until it's warmed up, but don't let it idle all the way up to temp.
Wish I had seen the tour while they were making the 92. I saw the tour when they were making c4's but it was so many years ago I don't remember anything about it.

This is the best advice possible on the subject, right on the money! :yesnod:
