I had ordered both for mine from them and found out it was ordered by a dealer 15 miles from me so looks like it spent it's entire life locally. One day hope I have the opportunity to visit the museum.

A great time to visit the NCM will be the 25th Anniversary Celebration Caravan the last week of August. I have been to the museum several times, but the Caravan only occurs once every 5 years, so this year will be the first time I get to do this one. I will be part of the contingent form Central Texas but there will be cars coming from every part of the USA. I cannot wait to do this as it has been on my bucket list for 20+ years.

My gripe to the museum is it needs to be more interactive.
there wasnt really anything you could sit in, feel or touch.
a great example was they had a c4 Dymag wheel in an acrylic case. They talked about how light it was.
wouldnt the exhibit be better if you could pick it up and then pick up a same size production wheel to see for yourself how light a Dymag wheel was ???

IMHO we are truly blessed to have a Museum dedicated to the history of our cars. I've been fortunate to visit the Museum at least 30+ times. Every time I go I try to set aside some time to sit on the benches along Corvette Blvd. It's fun watching and talking to owners taking delivery of their cars. For many it's their first, others second, third, fourth, fifth... I guess it's addicting!
Two deliveries stand out. One was a couple from PA taking delivery with the license plate "ROCN USA".
Second was a gentlemen recently retired from the Navy. He made the trip to Bowling Green alone. We talked for quite a bit, my father served in the Navy, and he told me this was the first car he had ever owned! He was quite excited about taking a very leisurely drive back to San Diego!!
If you're ever nearby you owe it to yourself to pay this great Museum a visit!!
