I was inspecting my rack and pinion to see if it was OK to reuse and I broke this cheap plastic cover on the inner front tie rod. What did I break?! WHAT IS THE GREEN THING>!
This is from an 1985 FSM. You didn't mention year so it may not be representative of yours, but I bet it is. I think it is #17-Ring, Shock Dampener. HTH
I did a quick look and I couldn't find it available either. I did find some shops that rebuild them. You may check with them and see if they sell parts or can give you a line on where to buy. Here's one you can check. Turn One
