I had a problem with my 87 dying unexpectedly last summer and found a bad coil.
Replaced it and it ran great.......Until now....
It bogs when I take off in 1st then picks up and runs fine after backing off the accelerator.
It does this cold or hot.
It is getting progressively worse.
Could it be that the coil is going bad again?
Also, it's shifting into overdrive way too soon.
Right after shifting to 2nd it goes into overdrive and that really bleeds off torque.
Any suggestions appreciated....
I'm going to install a new gauge on my fuel rail and check voltage at the TPS.
The TPS is less than 6 months old but I'll check it any way, plus I'm going to check the OHMS resistance on the coil.

Bogging under a load usually means a lean condition, not enough fuel. Check pressure, check filter, check regulator, maybe pull a plug and see if it looks lean. If all that checks out, pull the injectors and test.
