Ok im going to be changing my valve covers this spring and was wondering what would people recommend?? Or does anyone have any that they want to get rid of? I was looking at a set of lingenfelter ones....i like them. Anyone got any of those? Let me know of any sites out there they would have them. Like i said i liked the lingenfelter ones....but seemed a bit costly so i thought i would try here and maybe get lucky. Thanks
take a look there. I think they have polished aluminum centerbolt one's with the corvette emblem. They're quite nice, and affordable. I just put on LPE's covers(bought them used here from -=Jeff=-) They're similar to the other one's(I think the same place makes both covers)
Take a peek through Summit or Jefs also...see if they have something you like. I've seen black powdercoat(89vette) on there too, looks good.
That looks really cool. What year F-body do you have. From the looks of your air induction you costomized and relocated where your MAF(mass air flow sensor) is. IF thats true....how did you do it. Better yet...what did you use for your air tubing cause that air tube looks really nice? You must have relocated your air filter box as well. I did a costom ram air on mine....but i wanted to do something with the air tube but couldnt find anything that went with a MAF....everything was speed density only...(90-92)
The car is an 89 GTA and the tubing is 3" chrome plated mandrel bent pipe - relocates the air filter below the old panel I drilled a 3.25" hole through... K&N is behind foglight area on the GTA... I know this is not Corvette related BUT... The valve Covers ARE C4 Stock covers :jester
hope this helps...
