Default Sawblade Polishing

What do you guys recommend for stock wheel polishing ?
I want to polish mine up but don't want to strip off the original
finish. What works and what doesn't ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

http://www.gmtips.com/3rd-degree/dox/tips/tips.htm

That site has lots of helpful hints for getting a true PS finish when polishing anything. Under the section Buffing Aluminum. :smash:

i was under the impression that the rims are clearcoated. at least mine are on my 94. to polish a clearcoated rim you need to strip the clear coat. other than that, the only thing to do is clean the rims. by the way, i like that web site. the guy offers alot of good advice on buffing.

Hey Indy, (I've always wanted to say that!!! )
My wheels have the factory cleancoat on them, so I simply wash and wax them just like the body paint. Although, I do wax the wheels more often since they're down there in the dirty air more often, especially brake dust. I really like the polished brushed aluminum look, and waxing keeps them shiny!!
Good luck, :seeya
