Default C7 Wheels?

Has anyone ran these on a C4? I see quite a few for sale on craigslist..... Just wondering how they would fit and look.

For reference on offsets, the C7 sizes are:

C7 base
18"x 8.5" - 56mm
19"x 10" - 79mm (78?)

C7 Z51
19"x 8.5" - 56mm
20"x 10" - 79mm (78?)

C7 Z06
19"x 10" - 56mm
20"x12" - 56mm

Fronts at 56mm fit fine, rears need adapters in approx 20mm - 25mm to sit alright. I ran a 19" rear wheel on my 94 for a bit (3 piece wheels with 305s on the rear) and wasn't a fan, in my opinion 17s or 18s look best (I'm lowered though). - Here are a couple of useful threads:

Thank you Elis, for your write up!! There is a place in Maryland advertising 2017 C7 Z06 wheels and tires for 1300 to 1500. But after thinking about it more, and reading more, I agree with you. 17-18 will look better. A 20in. with stock brakes will look bad....
Thanks again.

C7 Z06 and GS wheels are low quality anyways. Take a look over in the C7 section, there's a massive thread where people are discussing their cracked OEM wheels, and they're all cracking in the same spot, the inner lip. The Stingray wheels seem to be ok though, hilariously!

I wouldnt do it for factory C7 wheels, people are dumping theirs not because they don't look good, but because cracking is an issue that they're trying to not have to deal with, or the owner is dumping his non-cracked wheels when he upgrades to forged. Base Stingray wheels mostly seem unaffected though.

I havent had to change my C7s wheels yet but folks are reporting that they are hitting just the average pothole and cracking their rims, so I take them gently. My 88 has C6 wheels and they have held up fine for years.

OE Wheels has 17" x 9.5" C7 style wheels listed for the C4 with a 54 mm offset. Does anyone see any issues if I run these wheels all the way around with 275/40/17 tires on my 1996 CE. It lists the fronts as 17" x 8.5" and the backs as 17 x 9.5" both with a 56 mm offset. Thanks.

No issues: 17x9.5 et54 will fit well, and 275/40r17 is the OE tire size for 88-96 C4s with 9.5" wheels at all four corners. The 2mm difference in offset is nothing, and if anything it will look nicer since it sets the wheels slightly further out toward the fender edges (and there is plenty of extra room for that). But 2mm is probably not even visually noticeable.
