I noticed a tiny crack on the hood of my 94 C4 (see 2 pics). I'm afraid it will eventually spider out and get larger. Is this something I should handle or leave to the professionals?

I have three spots like that on the LR corner of the hood on my "new" red '89.
I have the Dupli-Color "Scratch Fix" kit that I'll try soon as temps reach into the 70s. Been watching a few vids on how to touch up red paint on cars.
If I can't fix it properly I can always take it to a paint shop.

Is that stock paint? Looks questionable to me.
That looks like a gouge to me. I have done damage to my car 2 times and never that bad. Looks like something fell on it at one time or another to me.
I bought some touch up paint from midamerica corvette and you can't find where I touched up.
Hi Polo yes its stock paint and its only been there about 2 days. At this point I think I'm just going to take it in to a shop. Its not our daily driver so...
