94 optispark replacement not working

Default 94 optispark replacement not working
1994 vette - i replaced the optispark unit on my 94 LT1 and the engine turns but it will not start. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

No, the old one would not turn the engine. I had a mechanic check it for me and it was the opti. Same problem about 8 years ago when that one got wet from a broken radiator hose.

replaced with a non -oem replacement without the mitsubishi optical sensor?

Well i have used a Rock Auto Delphi and have had no problems . There is the optispark solutions who rebuilds your old one Call 937-5390896 He is in older forums on this site,I have three spares now for gold is easier to find than these units! Good Luck
