Default Rear Hatch Release??

Exactly where is the manual release for the rear hatch located and how do I get to it?
Please be a little specific...I hate to say it but I'm not really the brightest crayon in the box
Thanks,
Frank

You own a corvette That makes you smarter than most.

It is easy to find if the hatch is open. If not from the
inside it is directly under the trim just left of center.
Usually buried in the tight space. A pair of long nose pliers may
grab it easier. It is a thin metal rope wire with I believe a
yellow fob on end.

If you still have power I find the center console
yellow button is more power than the door buttons.

Thanks georgesauto, my center console button worked fine and then I had to replace the Hood release handle and disconnected the battery and now it doesn't work. Door releases never worked along with the courtesy lights, which I understand all go through the timer.
Thank You George
