I'm thinking of the ones behind the seats. Just curious to know if it is a good idea to pick up the wind restrictor for behind the seats if anyone has experience with them.
If you don't like the wind in your hair then you probably shouldn't have bought a convertible in the first place. Isn't that pretty much the point? Those windscreens are for snobby women in 3 series BMWs who don't want to mess up their hair on the way home from the beauty salon. Just put the top up if it's too breezy for you.
Cruisin,
The '89 came with a 160 deg. T-stat and a K&H so I just opened up the air filter lid. It still had the damn "frisbee" so installed a new serp. while I was removing that dead weight. Brakes looked ok so just did a flush. Still need do the TB coolant bypass.
Redying the seats and doing a bit of carpet repair around the clutch area is getting finished up.
I have no plans to really mod it further at this time. Having too damn much fun driving both a vert and a stick shift in the same package. Of course the bright red color doesn't hurt the fun either...
As I was pulling into the grocer's parking lot today a woman near by remarked "that's a beautiful car"...first one so far.

No aftermarket ones available as far as i know. I made one for my 92, for the benefit of my wife.. Definitely makes a difference for her.
