I do believe that the cooling fan switch has the same connector as the knock sensor. Looks like it on my 84, at least. If that is the passenger head, between cylinders 6 and 8, that would be your cooling fan switch.
That's a tricky connector. Many get destroyed because the "mechanic" can't figure out how to disconnect it. When you get your new connector, note that you can squeeze on the "fat" part of the connector, then pull it straight off the CTS. Your radiator fan must not be working properly.
