I have the MK 808TS. It's the same one except for having tire sensor capabilities built in. This scan tool only works on OBD 2. The only C4 this would work on is 1996. All years prior are OBD 1 protocol, with i believe 1994 and 1995 being the transitional years where OBD 1 was used, but the OBD 2 connector used. There are several tools available, both new and used, that can read OBD 1. These can get pricey though. You can read codes by jumping the proper connectors on the diagnostic connector and counting the flashes of the service engine light. A proper scan tool will allow you to read the live engine data. The information from OBD 1 is limited compared to OBD 2, but can still be useful for troubleshooting. I personally use a Snap On MT2500. This is older and discontinued, but still available on the used market, although can be pricey. From my experience, it is as close to the factory scan tool as the aftermarket can get.
