Default C4 seats

Hi tomorrow I’m picking up a nice 92 c4. It has a worn driver sport seat and I’m wondering if I can use the frame with standard seat cushions and padding

Lets see some pics of the worn areas.

Recently I referberished the driver's seat on my "new" '89 and am astonished at the result.

You can, but why would you? If you intend to ever sell the car, that's a big warning sign it was not cared for and everything was cheaper out on.

Get the right covers or refurbish the ones you have and you will be amazed at how good of seats they are.

Replacing the seat leather and cushions are rather straight forward as you can get them as a package. Pull off the old, check the seat frame and install the new. Takes some force to stretch everything for a proper fit but the results are fantastic.

That's a yes and no you could however sport seat controls insert into foam. The upper bolsters are free to move in and out. Base seats foam is different. You would be better off getting the correct foam and cover. Another possibility would be look for a nice used passenger seat for driver's side. Most pieces are interchangeable side to side.
