Default Convertible top question.

Can you remove the convertible top liner without removing the top from the car ?

Yes. The metal plate at the front bow comes off with a few screws. The liner has some long clips that attach it to the inside of the bows. They just pull down and off. The back is held in place by screws. It's been a few years since i had mine off, I'm old and can't remember like I used to. I'm pretty sure that's it though.
Good luck

Thank you very much ! I never should have kept it when I had the top replaces, the velcro side flaps have lost all of their "stick" and are constantly coming loose.

Update for anyone who cares. The liner is pretty easy to remove, Sluggballz was right on in his description. There was a trim panel on the front and one on the rear that needed to be unscrewed, then there was a "C" channel type clip that ran the length of two of the top bows. There were also two screws in the very back corners that held the liner and the decklid cover on. The whole process took less than a half hour, now I have to decide if I want to install a new liner or leave it as is.
