Hello. I have gotten great advice from this forum that included getting an expert in the model of Corvette I’m interested in buying to do a thorough inspection before purchasing. I plan to follow that good advice. What I’m wondering is how do I go about finding a reliable inspector/appraiser in a specific area of the country. Right now I’m mostly interested in the southwest, specifically north of Las Vegas. Thanks for any help. Gary
Look around for a local NCRS group and they probably could point you to an expert! That would be my first guess.
Find a local Corvette clubs online web site in the area where the car is located. Hagerty Insurance company might have a list of them as well. They might be worth a call, I use them for both my Corvettes. I am sure they know who you need in the Las Vegas area.
Last but not least find a local Corvette repair shop and have them look it over for you. They will have a rack to put it on which makes it so much easier to check out.
Thank goodness for this internet... This would have been a bit harder in the old days..
