I have a 96 CE convt... and the service LTPWS light just starting coming on (usually followed by the low/flat tire light).... I took it in to have it checked out and they're telling me that 3 of the sensors are bad, need to be replaced, and its going to cost me over a grand..... does any one have any other troubleshooting ideas or does anyone know how to turn it off, so those stupid lights arent yelling at me...
You have to remove the center console cover and than the upper face than you can get to the DIC to pull the bulbs I took mine out for the same issues.. the console cover has 3 screws 1 in the cup holder 2 in the back.. you will have wires for the lighter and hatch release.. you should be able to move it with removing the shifter ****..the front plate has 3 screws also 2 lower 1 top and 2 or 3 spring clips sides and top.. the DIC than has 3 screws and a plug in the back.. take your time and be sure to take off your battery ground..A good service manual helps..Good Luck
