Hello
I have two questions that I’m sure someone on here can help me out with. I’m trying to replace the engine compartment lights on my 96 c4. The new led bulbs are square and do not seem to lie flat. Is this correct for these type bulbs. Also can anyone tell me how to change the door bulbs. What I need to do to get to them? Thanks in advance. Ed
Thanks for getting back to me. They are what I purchased. I have them in but they are mounted sideways not flat. I assume that’s how they are supposed to mount. Ed.

**NOTE: This bulb is a "44"mm (long). HOWEVER the stock clips are "42s": the "44s" WILL NOT FIT without trimming the clips (I used my Dremel grinder) to fit the bigger "bulbs".
Here is a spreadsheet I compiled for the LED article I wrote for the "HEART OF THE BEAST" (quarterly ZR-1 Net Registry club magazine). The article is a couple years old and some updates to links may exist.

Thanks so much. After thinking on what you meant I took out old dremel and went to town. Fit in great now. Really appreciate the help. And also to everyone else. Ed
