There is a car show at Serpentini in Orrville on the 17th, you could come and meet the folks in the club (and other clubs) and see if you are interested. Clubs can and cannot be for people, depends on your own disposition/interests. (Orrville is across 76 to 21 south, to 585 south to 94 south)
Some of the members run C4's.
Do you have Factory Service Manual yet ? If you are going to keep the car you should get one.
There are lots of C4 owners local to you to talk to, get ideas from, etc.

bought my first, and probably only vette may 1st this year...always wanted one. Know very little a out them...issues so far. No horn.. but alarm sounds the horn? No interior lights.
