Another power door locks question
Just picked up my C4, and have found that the passenger's door will not lock or unlock from the driver's door, when using the key.
The power door lock button on the driver's door does lock or unlock the passenger's door just fine.
I'm guessing then that maybe there's a wire that's come off the barrel or something on the driver's door?
I'm trying to avoid having to take that door panel off, and that someone will have a magical answer that means I won't have to do that.
But I'm guessing that that's what I'll need to do?
Thanks in advance.
PS I did read all the other forum posts on power door locks, but that didn't seem to be the same problem I have.
If you use the power locks on one door, it locks or unlocks both doors.
If you use the key on either door to lock or unlock the door, it doesn't affect the other door.
You don't have a problem IMO, that's how my 86 works also. If you unlock one door with the key, you can then use the power lock button to unlock the other side or use the key to accomplish it. Same thing if you lock a door with the key, doesn't do anything to the other door.

It does mean I have to manually unlock the passenger’s door every time I get in the car, but as long as I know that’s how it works, all good.
Thanks again.
