Default New weatherstrip

I just finished the new weatherstrip install for my 90 coupe and I love having everything sealed. There is one issue, I have to slam my doors to close them. Now I'm sure it's because they are new and have to break in to the new locations, but, is there something to soften the material and expedite this?

Thanks in advance

More than likely, you need to adjust your windows vs soften the rubber.

So heat in small quantities? Its a little late for summer how rolling into November, even here in Florida.

It seams the issue is the door seals where they turn to fit the corners. The outer portion has collapsed and is pushing into the door frame preventing an easy close.

On further investigation I have found that the seal under the car is causing the issue. From what I can see the seal fits nicely under the frame on the front of the door but where is turns level to the ground it begins to protrude out and sit against the frame. Once the turn up the back of the door is made it is obvious that is how it should be. My question is where does the factory seal make this change? can any one snap a picture of the seal where it makes this change?
