Default What rocker panel is missing????

Looking at an 87 and it's missing some panel on each side. It had a ground effects kit and now removed. Before I but this car I need to find out if I can even get these?Name: ttKaefc.jpg

Rockers and all years except 90 - 95 ZR-1 will fit. Shop local and if the paint on your car is original to the car try to shop for correct color/year and 'for sure' local. I'd think you'll have 'NO ISSUES'!!!!

You might add 'location' to your post and the paint color! Maybe someone will stumble upon your thread and be local!!

I'd guess SPID label should display paint code 81 with WA8774 reference.

Are these fairly easy to find used? What about new? How much do they cost? What is the technical name for these?

Used C4 rocker panels are all over eBay. If you are patient, and a little bit lucky, you might even find a pair in you Vette's color in good enough shape to clean up and bolt on to your car without repainting.

Where are you located ? There are a couple people in my area parting out C4's, but without your area, I don't know whether to recommend them to you or not.

Guys - I told the 'OP' in my 1st post a likely way to proceed!!! Gave him a 'color' hint!!! I guess some are just SLOW'!!!!

I have a plan he mentioned!!!! LOL!!!!

I'd shop 'LOCAL' very hard! I doubt UPS/FEDEX would be very inexpensive and I'd certainly like a 'hands on'!! I'd pay way more likely for 'LOCAL' and being able to do a 'hands on' for condition. eBay would likely be a last resort!

I have a very good pair but 'wrong color'!!! The wrong color in very good condition might be a better buy than maybe rough thought to be correct color!!!

I expected to see a WTB in the parts section when I returned!

No I'm not slow lol. I contacted a local used corvette parts dealer(Just Corvettes) and I have a couple C4 parts vendors one being Mirrock Corvette e-mail me saying they have them in MY color. But being the weekend they only work till noon and said they will get back to me Monday.

My main concern was being able to get them, I have not owned a C4 in years and don't have the car yet. Picking up today(Sunday) If they were going to be a problem to get I was going to pass on the car or at least more of a discount which I did get.
Was doing research. I'll post in the want to buy if needed.

If the rear wheels are just swapped 'side to side' it appears quite complete. What body panels have holes? Rocker color might not be important since you've plans anyway!

Apologies for the 'sarcasm'!!!!

I'm used to the sarcasm. Viper forums are brutal. Pencil di** s on there lol. Some small holes under the rocker panel and rear where the body kit was and the rear where a wing was. The rear I will leave until I decide if the wing removed is the one i like and I will just put it back on. Not a fan of the "body kits" at all My body guy said no biggie. These cars have that black seam on the bottom ,easy to fill em and shoot it from there down. Front fascia ok no holes . I have friends thank God. Overall it's not really that bad at all from my original post. I'm worse case scenario on everything. After looking at it and driving it it's a sound car. The underneath is clean.

Thanks for the advice!
