The Green Hornet just rolled 100k on odometer. So far, no leaks, hoses/belts good. Only 2 repl optis (90k and 98K). Changing Differential and ZF fluids this weeknd
Thanks for the kind words, and sorry to anyone whose 'vette leaks. Glad for C4 Forum on CF. Better dialog than several 'Vette Clubs in my area. As long as Left Knee holds up, no need for another Corvette. Oh yeah, tried enticing Wifey with C6 w/Auto; keeping her hybrid for the carbon trade off.
Are you sure it has oil in it? Can't seem to keep up with the leaks in my LT4. A drop from here, then a drop from over there!
Mine is a Polo coupe with the ZR1 style wheels, but I really like those on your car! Really nice!
So, judging by some of these posts, it is okay to keep driving one's C4 right thru and past the 100,000 mile marker. And it won't explode or otherwise fall apart? Will there be lots of fireworks and sparklers?Yeah!!
I am driving down to Birmingham, AL tomorrow and on the trip down, I will cross that 100K threshold. I've owned my Corvette since 2003 when it had 42,285 on the clock. Since then I've been averaging a little more than 3,500 miles a year, so it stays on the road, providing all that joy we keep hearing about. Maintenace has been brakes, tires, stereo, all three gas struts, headlight doors bushings, and one Opti. That's been it, thus far. Next I suppose will be the front end bushings and all, but in general I have to say, this has been a quality GM product.
* forgot, shocks also

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
