Tachometer Issues
Pulled dash cluster to do the LCD panel repair. Replaced the dash and now the tach is inop. Hangs below the min RPM and does nothing. It was working before. Ugh. Thoughts? Suggestions? 1993 40th, 6MT, w/115K miles. No mods.

maybe just a bad connection at the cluster. If this is a C68/ATC car you could check the RPM on the A/C Control. With 'no signal' it could park anywhere but 'KEY-ON' not running a correctly calibrated tach should park @ 0. If it's not a C68 car then maybe a scanner connected to the ALDL to confirm operation. Having done the LCD repair you mention, any number of things are very likely!! Certainly something 'self-inflicted'. Connector @ the cluster after maybe confirming if possible RPM display using other devices.

Thanks very much. Yup, that's what I'm thinking, self inflicted. Keeping fingers crossed its a connection, somewhere. Anyway, too cold this weekend to mess w/it. I'll update once I get going on it.
