C4 Headlight Problem - Please help!
I can not retract the driver side headlight. I have tried to retract it manually but the gears simply do not engage. I believe that the assembly must be in the retracted or down position in order to remove the assembly for a rebuild. Can anyone please provide advice on how I can move the headlight to the retracted position without damaging anything. I sincerely appreciate any advice you can provide.

Thanks for your reply! I did know about the **** for manual rotation however the gears won't engage. As a result I am unable to retract the headlight. I don't believe I can remove the headlight assembly without retracting the headlight. Has anyone else run into this problem. Thanks!

Sorry about that! It is a 1994 Corvette. As I indicated the manual **** does not work and I am unable to retract the headlight. I do not want to damage the assembly. Perhaps there is some other way to retract it. Please advise and thanks for any help you can give!
