Do any of you guys or gals use those plastic sill protectors ? I've been thinking about ordering some but only if they work.

I have them and like them. They do their job well enough...when they aren't being kicked off the sill.

I got them for my 91 and like the look, they are black with CORVETTE in white. When first installed I'd kick it off getting out of car, but have settled in now and stay in place.

I have the black ones with white lettering and they do protect the carpet. I solved the problem of them coming off easily by just putting some of the hook side of velcro inside the piece. Sticks to the carpet with no issues.

I had a set of black ones for my 96 and a pair of clear ones for my 91 ZR1. But with my current car I decided to go without. I'm very careful going in and out of the car and the carpet looks just fine. With them I didn't like how they mashed the carpet down a bit compared to the parts of the sill that were not covered.

I have stainless steel ones. They're pretty nice, I like em. They're a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, I always say. Made in U.S.A. $159.00.

Well, actually, you don't always get what yu pay for when it comes to aftermarket corvette parts. You hardly ever do, in fact. Ha.

But with those stainless steel ones I have, you do.

American Car Craft. I put the link up there, but I'll link it again here. It'll take a couple of weeks to receive em, they make em to order. They're laser cut. Mirror finish. Won't tarnish or fade or rust. The sill covers screw into the existing holes on the side of the door sill itself and they drill the holes in the sill cover precisely, so they line up nice and good. They're real tight.

I have the black with white letters. But wanted to tone them down. I painted them over with black fusion paint.

Well I ended up getting the high dollar ones from American Car Craft like Natty C did above. I opted for a brushed finish which didn't qualify for a sale price so they were $169.95. The main part is brushed but the 2 trim ribs on top are polished. After a quick fit it seems as if they will look good but I'm gonna wait till spring to put them on as the car's in hibernation mode. They seem to give the car a finished look. Thank you everyone for your input.

Ended up not waiting for spring and installed them today. I defiantly like the brushed finish.

I have the black plastic/white lettering ones in my GS. I had the same ones in my last C4, my '90 back in the early 2000s. Very happy with them.
