Default Fuel door.

Just bought a '95 this morning and I can't find the fuel door release. Is it near the hood release?

David, did you sell your C3? Welcome to the C4 world! New tricks to learn! Did you get an owners manual with the "new" Corvette?

If you can’t figure out how the gas door works you will never figure out a blown fuse.

Please be nice! He's a C3 guy, and the C4 is a whole different animal! We should be welcoming him to the C4 family!

I'll bet he could stump us on a few C3 challenges!

Be sure to read up on the parking brake.

Oh, you also want to spend time reading about the PKE system, especially if your new 95 came with a fob.

This will come up... The hood release is way under the driver's side dash. It's much further than you're expecting.

It's obvious he didn't even try to lift the fuel door before asking "where's the release." This is not the approach of a do-it-yourself person. At first I thought this was trolling but sadly it's real.

Being in New Jersey where it was decided we are too stupid to pump our own gas I've had to tell several gas attendants how to find the filler door. I vote to give the poster a break.

The fuel door on a C4 operates pretty much the same way it does on a C3.

Leave the fan wiring alone. They're just fine the way Cheverolet designed them. I spent an entire afternoon undoing the lunacy of a 'do-it-yourselfer.' Heh heh.

Congrats on your C4.

SH-60B. Welcome to the community. I too had several C3 before "graduating" to the C4--- and I'm super glad I did. Great car and C4 guys seem to stick together.

Good luck!

thanks. I bought a c5 this fall and couldn't turn down the c4. To the naysayers, I completely rebuilt the c3 I had, drivetrain, interior and body / paint. Same for a couple of Camaro and a half dozen trucks.I've probably forgotten more than you'll ever know. Thanks for reminding me what a toilet the cf is.
