Default 1988 ABS Control Harness Connector Problem

Does anyone know the trick to getting the ABS Control Harness re-connected on a 1986-1989 (I have an 88)? I have been fighting it for about an hour and have not been able to get it reconnected. I hope there is a simple trick I am missing.

Default Solution!

I finally figured it out and hope others won't struggle like I did. If you carefully remove the 2 screws holding on the silver locking device on the right side of the picture, the ABS harness snaps right in place. Then you need to replace the tap and screws. I have an original Chevrolet training video on Corvette ABS and it shows the technician removing the ABS harness without removing the tab, and it never explains how to get the ABS harness back on. I think this applies to 1986-1989, but don't know about other years.

I just had mine off last month and didn't have to remove the locking tab. IIRC all I had to do was work the tab on the cable under the locking tab first then the connector swung into place and engaged the controller unit. I had to wiggle the cable a little to get it under the locking tab properly but once I did it all fell into place.
Your method works but there's a little extra to do, but either way will work.
Thanks for showing an alternate method.
