Default Graphics on a C4

I keep thinking about what I can do to my 92' C4 in the spring when I get it out of storage. I just bought it last September, and for the most part, everything works ( I'm rebuilding the Boss amplifiers this winter for a better sound system).
Ive been throwing around the idea of some stripes. At first I was looking looking at the fender hash mark stripes, but recently came across the racing stripes in the picture that I kind of like. This picture is NOT of my car, but one I found online.. I would like to hear your thoughts about the stripes or other modifications that you made on your car that I could do..

I think that if you like the look of a particular graphic or stripe on your car, than that's all that matters. As for the pic you included, I think it looks great on that corvette.

My car is a 95 convertible, it started life in Polo green clothes. It needed a repaint and I have loved the GS center stripe since 1996. I painted the car 2014 Limerock green with a summit white GS stripe. I've had nothing but compliments, and I've made it my car to my taste. Name: photo577.jpg

Make it yours and do what you like. Personally, I don't care for the fender hash marks other than on the actual GS, just my opinion.

I have no stripes on mine but if I did I'd do a GS stripe. That graphic has the classic look. I agree with not having a hash stripe.

It's funny, I'm not a huge fan of the GS stripe without the hash marks, haha. I personally LOVE the way the hash marks look solo on the car. Simple and they really "complete" the look of the car without being too much.

My 84' I painted Admiral blue and put on black hash marks.

I didn't notice the decals on the hood of this car until I actually met the guy to look at it and buy. You can also just see a thin pinstripe that runs down most of the middle. I kinda like them now.

Like several folks said, it's all about what you like. But, since you asked for thoughts; I think most aftermarket stripes and decals look hokey. Small subtle add-ons like the fender hashes or the hood cowl stickers look halfway decent, but aside from that, meh.

Personally I don't care for most stripes etc. Most are too big for the car IMO. The one I can speak to though is the one that puterami showed, that I think is refined and elegant. It's simple and clean, so that complements the cars bodylines. IMO when you overdo it, you take away from the lines of the car. If they don't complement the car then they're too much.
The final though on this is it's your car and you should do what makes you happy.

I'm not a fan of graphics of any kind on a C4. The car just isn't shaped right for that sort of thing. That's my personal opinion, though. To each their own.

I wonder has anyone done a wrap on a C4 ? That might be interesting depending on what you do.
