Interior Lights
Another problem with my 1984 Corvette the interior lights won’t come on when the door is open I changed the door switch just on the driver side did not do the passenger side just because the door is rarily ever open. The odd thing is if I turn the light switch to the maximum position the lights will come on and it will also allow me to open the rear hatch From the door and the middle glove box. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I assume an 84 has an interior light delay relay like an 86 does. If that's true, sounds very similar to what I have seen on my 86. Turn the interior lights on via the headlight switch and the toneau cover relays will energize and open via the door switch (it's a convertible). Lights will not come on when you open the door. I keep saying one day I'll get to replacing that relay, but when the weather is nice I'd rather be driving than working on something like that.

Interior lights on 84 Would you happen to know Where that relay may be located . I like your thought process on the driving of the car rather than working on the project like that
