Ordering from ZIP?

Ordering from ZIP?
How do they seem, as far as response? I emailed them a question, several days ago. Got a response this morning, and wanted to place the order immediately so it'd ship quick, so I emailed back... Nothing all day.. I'm just wondering if , once I place the order, will it be weeks before I see the items? I guess I got spoiled by Summit's quick shipping :)

Nobody is as good as Summit, but Zip does a good job. I've had no problems so far.

I know what you mean. Seems like when I order something from Summit on Monday, I have it by Wednesday at the latest.... Too bad they dont even sell the sill protectors, or I'd probably be calling them :(

I've had great luck with Zip. I usually phone in my orders though. I don't think they check eMail all that often. It's been my experience that phone in orders usually are mailed out the same day. :) ~Juliet

Have had some good experiances with ZIP.....Tried to place an order online....but at the end of order was sent to another page which asked questions not pertaining to my order....????????

Got mad and cancelled order, and placed with Corvette Central....so far my best source....

Call them. I live 2 hours from zip and purchased several thousands worth of C3/C4/C5 parts from them. BEST service out of all of Vette dealers..

No problems with Zip - Only problem with phone order VS net is CF members do get a discount on many items. There is a difference in price(higher) if you order outside the CF.

I ordered a car cover from Zip a couple months ago...first order with them. I got an email a couple days after placing the order online that said the car cover wouldn't be to them for 2 weeks and they would send it out as soon as they got it. I then came home to about 4 days later to find it delivered! So....I have only had one experience with them but it was good.

west is the best guy to talk to there, and their shipping methods are superior, I have bought most of my stuff from them, yes they can be slow to respond, but they have ultimate customer services and top quality goods.

I worked at ZIP for about 9 months while taking time off school, so this is what I can tell you....my orders, assuming they were in stock, almost always went out same day and next day at the latest - order early in the morning and just ask if they can make sure it ships that day if it's in stock. I would hand walk orders through to make sure they went out same day. West had just gotten there when I left, and he's really cool. Just tell him Jennifer sent you. ;)
