Collector/reducer size
1989 stock, except no cats on front y pipe
i need to buy a collector/reducer for the headers I am installing. The collector size is 3 inch, but I’m not sure what the diameter of the y pipe is. Anyone know ? Does the reducer slide over or inside the y pipe?

IDK diameter. Guess is 2.5. No cats can be a problem. Muffler shop can expand reducer to fit front pipe as necessary. Some shops won't fit it to car in the shop, because no cats is a serious EPA violation. So call ahead.
