I remember reading a thread a few years back that someone had popped on starting that they have the first 84 Corvette released to the public. The one that was originally owned by Bob Nagy and sold by Bob Rubino of Cochran&Celli Chevrolet. Wondering if anyone here knows where the car ended up or what the condition of the car is in.. Even seeing more pictures of the car would be great. I would really love to know what became of the car.
Back in 2014 or 2015 it was allegedly owned by a forum member with a claimed 115k miles as of then and said to be in good shape. Hoping it's not in a wrecking yard.
...1984 Corvette VIN #00001, which was white was supposedly donated to a charity by GM and was either raffled off or auctioned off. About 15yrs ago the owner(do not remember his name at the moment)had it at several big Corvette shows(for sale, I think)and I had seen it 3 or 4 times. Not sure if it's even still around or who even owns it.

Vin #00001 was not the first car off of the line for 1984. They held the vin number and put it on a later car sometime after #71 I believe.
I would love to find vin #00002, it should be the actual first car off of the line.
