I just finished putting mine together today. I have the typical two car garage with low ceiling and door opener unit hanging down. A "post" type lift would have been a waste of money in this garage. The lift is very well made and I am sure it will serve me well. I'll post some pictures if someone will instruct me on how to do it. I am a newcomer to the form and I've never posted any pictures. I will be pulling the 700R4 out of my '87 this winter and this will make the job alot easier (no more wobbly jackstands!). Check out their website http://www.kwiklift.com

Phil has pic's of mine, including the mod I did to install an air operated hydraulic jack! The kwiklift is great and the air operated jack makes it even better!
You'll have to chop a whole in your concrete floor, but it isn't that difficult and you will appreciate the "drive-on, hit the switch" convenience
I use four standard Vette jacks at the frame locations and I can raise all four wheels for brake work, etc. This also allows you to sit straight up under the car. Use jackstands if you will be rocking the car.
