Default Seat options

I have a 90 with saddle interior. I've been kicking around the idea of replacing the seats. The factory seats while acceptable are a bit floppy for my liking. My problem is while I can find several aftermarket seats I like I can't find anything that is a close match to the saddle interior. I dont want to run black seats because it just looks like a cut corner to me. I would like to avoid having to have a local company leather wrap some seats for me but it may he my only option.

I bought aftermarket seats for my '90 last year. They're already wearing. Very, very thin leather.

Once they start wearing too badly, I'll likely have them rewrapped with thick stuff.

Hard to find quality aftermarket stuff, to be honest. Best to have them rewrapped, in my view. It's probably even less expensive than buying the overpriced crap quality aftermarket seats.

If the covers are still in good shape, you could just replace the foam.

I'm not talking about a stock seat cover upgrade. I'm looking for an entire seat change. Something stronger. I've grown accustomed to my Kirkey race seat in my C5 and how rigid it is, makes everything else feel like a loose playing card.

I think Cobra made some saddle leather seats at one point. Like 1700$ each.

I recently had my stock seats in my '96 reupholstered and luv it. They used synthetic leather and used my original foam since it was in good shape. Not the cheapest option, but it looks and feels the best to me. You can have the stitching in a different accent color as well if you want. Get a few estimates at local upholstery shops.

I just bought black all leather seat covers with foam attached for my 94 Coupe with base seats from Corvette America now Top Flight Automotive.

Best price ever $1050
pulled old seats removed cushions and covers installed new covers and steamed the leather to make it softer and allow the rear seat zipper to be zipped up. If you don't heat seats
the ziiper won't zip and you run risk of ripping leather.
