I have a 1987 corvette, 82k miles. Brakes get soft after a few seconds and I need to pump to get pressure again. I’m not sure if I need to just bleed the system or replace the brake master cylinder or maybe the brake booster. If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.
Hi
If you got any air trapped in the abs pump you will need to get it out, in modern cars you can cycle the abs pump to bleed the brakes via a scanner to obd2 port .
Not sure if the early c4s have this option, you may need to drive the car and slam the brakes on hard to activate the abs.
Then bleed again and repeat if required.
