Default 93' Door Lock Switch Wiring Harness Problems

So I just replaced my both door lock alarm switches including the door handles on each door. Inside the door panels, the lock cylinders have what I think is called 'door lock alarm switch harnesses' which tell the CCM when a key is inserted into either door lock from outside the car at the 12 o'clock position. When I pull codes, my CCM in Module 1.3 DISPLAY CCM inputs/status shows input ID 03 Door key switch alarm info = 1 = enabled. I don't have the FSM but read in the owners manual this means the CCM is reading one of the door keys is in either door lock(either one I'm assuming) and at the 12 o'clock position causing the CCM to send a signal to the relay module underneath the dash/passenger side to illuminate the interior(courtesy lamps) lights for a maximum time of 15 minutes with one/both doors opened, or one/both doors are closed within the 15 minutes and then they stay on for 30 seconds after both doors are sensed closed.

My problem is the interior lights always stay on for 15 minutes after I open either door regardless of whether the door key is inserted in either door lock. Even when I start the car and let it run or drive, the interior lights(courtesy lights) stay on for 15 minutes and then they extinguish. And 'NO' the interior light/courtesy lamp slide collar on the headlight switch isn't up which would make them stay on all the time! I ran the input test thru the CCM in Module 1.3 DISPLAY CCM inputs/status and input ID 04 and 05 for 'left door ajar' and 'right door ajar' and test fine. I lubed both door ajar switches and they work fine! I also checked Module 1.4 CYCLE CCM outputs ID 10 for 1993(convertible) Courtesy Lamp relay(1992-1996) and it tested fine also cycling the interior/courtesy lights on and off for 3 seconds at a time. This was telling me the CCM and all associated wiring is fine. My next move is to access the delay module which is hard to get to and check it but I highly doubt that is the cause sense it turns the lights out after 15 minutes like it is supposed to do. I am thinking it's the door lock switch wiring harness... the logic is the CCM thinks the key is inserted and at the 12 o'clock position since I am getting Module 1.3 input ID 03 Door key switch alarm info shows 1 = enabled. I think the 'enabled' means the system thinks a key is in either door lock switch instead of 'system is enable' meaning it is turned on! Can anyone shed some light on this?

I will also add when I was changing the original door lock cylinders I removed them which included disconnecting the door lock switch wiring harness that fits to the back of the cylinder. I included a picture and also drew an arrow to the center part that slides over the end of the lock cylinder. See picture...

The arrows points to the middle of the harness connector that slides over the door lock cylinder. When I removed the originals a plastic piece came off that was circular like a collar and slid over the lock cylinder end between the highlighted part of the harness. I don't have either piece because when I removed them they were so old and brittle they both disintegrated in my hand!

I am wondering if that was some type of insulator or mechanism that prevents connection between the lock cylinder with the key in it making electrical contact to the harness only when in a certain position? This is about the only thing I can think of since no other trouble shooting is working! I am tired of taking the door panels on and off. I want the car to work as if it came from the factory so disconnecting the interior/courtesy lights by pulling a fuse isn't an option for me. I want to fix all problems now to preserve the car for long term. If anyone can help with info please do. It's a 93' convertible. Door pins have been replaced and adjusted and are working fine. The CCM shows no faults, and I replaced the chime module too, along with checking the PKE module and making sure all connections to the CCM were good based off of sight only when I had the entire dash off. I also just got my PKE working again just fine even though it takes a minute sometimes for it to wake up. I changed the battery in the key fob. As of now, I can't think of anything else. I was suspecting the relay module(I think that is what it is called) under the passenger dash, but since it's hard to access and the test shows it's working fine. I want to figure out these door lock switches and the harness inside the door... I am going to disconnect both door lock switch wiring harnesses to see if I can get the code for Module 1.3 input ID 03 Door key switch alarm info to show 0 = (I'm assuming it should show disabled). Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
