If you mean remove scratches from the clear targa top, the answer is yes. You can buff out the scratches if they are not too deep. You will probably buff through a clear coating on the targa top. If so, you will probably want to buff it off the entire top. It should cause no problems. If the scratches are deep you will need to sand them out with 1000 grit sandpaper and water. Then sand with 2000 and then 3000, with water, and then buff.

After sanding and buffing the scratches, would it be worth spraying clear back over the top? Will the acrylic discolor over time without clearcoat protection? I have a top with some light crazing and some scratches on the outside.
It would be worth the effort trying to fix it myself if that means not spending $200-$600 having the acrylic replaced.
