why do the first and second responders feel the need to quote and make us read what we just read?

just asking.

i kinda understand the quote if it’s a lengthy thread or gets off track but I see it continuously in the first response. Sometimes in the second. I’m pretty sure i would be responding to the question or statement I just read.

so why the need to quote?

See...now it’s helpful to differentiate between questions! But as a first response...not so much.

I’m sorry. I won’t ask anymore questions. I apologize for wanting clarification.

Can a mod please delete my account?

I checked your account. It says you’ve been a “member” since 2004. I guess that’s one way to put it

Habit maybe, what does it matter? Your brain should see it and just scan over it.

Why do people post off topic? I can see maybe 10 pages down as people might forget what the thread was about, but within a page or two just makes no sense......
