I have a 1996 collectors edition lt4 that I put in shows to be judged and was wondering what sticker was here on the drivers side door jam ? Any help is appreciated
From my experience, factory stickers were put on the doors. Typically you will find a RPO sticker and a Bowling Green UAW on the door. I could be wrong that faded sticker looks like a old school oil change sticker that faded as the paper wore off. If this were my car, I'd remove it.
I think it is the "Certified Delivery" label (or something to that effect), the sticker came on a card that gave the pre-delivery instructions for the prep guy to sign off then, then place the label on the jamb. Sometimes you can find the card, but almost never a card with sticker. I do not know of a source for those.

Don't think anything was there from the factory. I'd clean it off

My reply was based on the shape of what is remaining. I still think it is the delivery label BUT it was never supposed to be placed there. Instructions were to do the checklist, sign the card ,put the card in the glovebox and place the label on the drivers door jamb.
I also have a 96 CE, no sticker or remains of one on the door jamb.
On the door I have a Bowling Green sticker, a inflate tires for competitive driving, a MFD by General Motors and the tire loading sticker. I also have the remains of a sticker similar to yours, just more worn off.
