Default Courtesy Light Timer
Is the security light/system in any way connected to the dome light timer? I had some work done on the car and evidently they left the door open too long and it fried the timer. Now the security light no longer flashes and the "key in ignition" alarm no longer "dings." Are they all related???

Not that I know of. Light timer is independent of the other stuff.

The courtesy lights are on the same circuit as the buzzer/gauges iirc. My check engine light wouldn't work either but the lights themselves did. Its a 10 amp I believe that says gauges.
