Finally finished
I inherited this 85 from my father back in 2011. It sat for a long time went to several different shops, had some complications with a few establishments. But it is finally finished. Got it back a little over 1 month ago and driving it when I can.
Work done:
Installed zz6 efi deluxe crate engine
Installed tremec 5 speed
Complete interior overhaul(all new carpet, seat foam/covers)
New paint factory color.
Rewired stereo(No More Bose)
Future work
new shocks
upgrade sway bars
various suspension upgrades
New poly bushings everywhere
new steering wheel

I would have to agree. Looks like the shop that did the work zip tied them in place. Is there anything specific I should install to do it right?

Consider the bushings from Super Pro instead of the poly ones. I think you will like Super Pro much better.

This may be my favorite early C4 that I have seen, no joke. Great upgrades, very well done and I'm sure it's a thrill to drive!
I just wonder if you are smashing knuckles on the stereo to reach gears 1-3-5.

Nope. No smashing knuckles. It's great, even the shop owner said he loved the 5spd and is contemplating doing it to his c4 that he tracks.

OK that's great, was just thinking the long throw must be tight up front. So that interior picture, is it in 2nd/4th or is it in neutral?

In that picture it's in reverse. It's actually a fairly short throw compared to the 4+3 I got rid of.

Looks really great, nice job. I would relocate that coil away from the exhaust manifold area. Try and find a place away from the headers/ exhaust.

BEAUT9FUL VETTE! Just a humble suggestion: replace that bread box (glove box). Numerous threads on HOW-TO.
