So is your car a stocker, no mods just get in and go and be happy?
Is your car mildly modified, a few bolt ons to make the car perform, sound, and/or look better
Is it modified but a sleeper?
Is it modified and anyone within a mile radius knows it?
So what kind of Corvette do you have?
Personally mine is modified with bolt ons and performs well, and is not much of a sleeper, you can hear the car coming from quite a ways away, and it has the wing and rims, as well as the forced air intake. Living up to its plan of not being an Ordinary 91 Corvette. As for the wing, it was already on the car when I bought it and I really like the way it looks, but its not something I would have had added to a car without one, as for taking it off it would have been more work that it was worth especially since I like the look.
Re: What do you consider your car? (No Ordinary 91)
Well, you have to define stock, neither of my engines have been touched. My six speed has the Corsa so it isn't 100% factory stock, my automatic has gears and a high stall torque converter, so it's not 100% factory stock either.
But they both get into the high 12's which is not stock either(although the '95 did it before the exhaust went on).
Obviously its modified, but even with 110+ N/A more horsepower at the wheels than it left the factory with I don't consider it "highly modified". I think once it has been stroked and/or has some form of forced induction on it I'll consider it that. :)
Re: What do you consider your car? (No Ordinary 91)
I would say mine is a sleeper because other then the wheels and tires it looks stock but has a few mods :D
Most people don't know what size tires it came with anyway.
I'd have to say mine is with the sleepers right now... With the exception of a cut air lid, the engine looks stock right down to the manifiolds. unless you've got a good ear you can't tell it's got a cam in it...
and that should all change when the headers go on it :)
