Pulled codes, now what do they mean?
Service Engine Soon light has been coming on intermittently so I did the A-G paperclip thing to pull codes. Got the following:
Module 1- H25
Module 4- H32
Module 9- ERR
According to this site http://www.corvettebuyers.com/ecm4.html
That means I have high intake air temperature and some sort of issue with Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit. Are these parts I can replace? I do have a factory service manual ( although in the past I haven't found it to be all that useful)
Though they don't list the ABS/ASR codes (Module 9), "ERR" suggests that the wiring between the CCM and the EBTCM (the computer for the ABS/ASR located in the storage compartment behind the driver's seat) is incomplete or broken or some idiot unplugged the ABS to hide a problem rather than fixing it.
If you have the correct FSM I can't see why it wouldn't be incredibly helpful. The so-called "red book" FSMs (because the covers are red) are fantastic and go into a lot of detail as to how to diagnose and repair just about anything on the car. Best of luck.
