Default Hey, Canada Vets Question

I don’t really put away my vette for the winter. I usually don’t drive it if there is snow on the ground. In Maryland, just 1 or 2 inches brings the world to a stop. Just wondering how long and when do you put your vette away and when do you get it out.

Well, I have yet to ever put my vette away for the winter!!!!! It's taken me through 2 less than ideal winters and I only had to leave it a home maybe 5 times total. As long as you pay attention to the task at hand and think for those around you its not that bad, and besides drifting in empty parking lots is great fun.

Wedge.

:D  :chevy :seeya

Live in a part of Canada with very little snow (usually!)Don't put it away except when it does snow.Probably 5 days last year. We're more like northern Californians than REAL Canadians here!! Was driving around with the top down last Christmas! :flag

i usually put it away in late oct. or early nov.

and start taking it out again in late march or april.

However with all of this global warming lately and the fact that we just don't get very much snow here anymore, i'm going to leave it insured this winter and maybe take it for the odd blast. Last winter there were several days when people were out on their motorcycles in jan. and feb.
if you are curious i am located in thunder bay, which is directly on top of lake superior, about 3 hours north of duluth minnesota

Mine has been away for 3 days now, but I will be driving it a few more times before complete storage. Maybe a few days before Christmas :yesnod: It should come out in April or so  Last year the day before Christmas eve I went to the corner store and bought bread  and this year it looks like me may have a green Christmas as well, but I really hope not :mad
So to sum it up, it goes away a few days before Christmas and comes out around April

yeah i actually kick myself for putting mine away, i should have renewed the insurance and kept driving it. guess i am just trying to be cautious as last year i watched the vette turn in this big snow sculpture for a month.

oh yeah i finally washed it yesterday after what?... 3 months of leaving it being filthy?? gotta clay bar and zaino it week after next hopefully weather allows for it.

but yeah i put the car away on halloween and will bring it back out around march or april.
