Default Where does this vacuum line go?

Hey everyone another noob question here,
found this vacuum line that looks like its attached to the EGR, just can’t see where it is supposed to connect to. Any help is appreciated my FSM is still in the mail so I don’t have access to a diagram yet.

That looks like it goes to your EGR valve. It may have been disconnected intentionally. It goes to the EGR solenoid that is bolted to rear of your thermostat housing.

Thanks! What would be the reason for disconnecting it intentionally? Just wondering because I have been chasing what seems to be a phantom vacuum leak and happened to be poking around under the intake and saw this just laying there. Didn’t know if it could be causing performance issues by being disconnected.

With it disconnected you don't have the EGR function, which may be the reason for the disconnect.

Try plugging it and check for performance change.

Look for a sticker on the radiator cover, it will have the vacuum tube layout, as well as related items, specific to your car. Some options change the layout, I assume.
